Wedding Matters to Mind
Do you have enough things to think about before your wedding? Just in case you would like a few more
things to consider (haha), we have supplied the following article. In all seriousness, not many of us
are experienced in all things weddings. For those that celebrate the mantra, "I wish I knew then what
I know now," the following suggestions can be helpful.
How does spending
all day in heels or uncomfortable shoes sound? Stop cringing, you don't have to if
you remember to bring flats, sneakers, or feel free enough to go bare feet. You will be standing for
the majority of the day, and amidst all of the excitement, you may not realize how badly your feet may
ache later.
Boutiques usually don't get your
wedding dress shipped to the shop until just before the big day.
Otherwise, the shop would house brides' dresses for nine months or more. Stay on top of getting fitted
well before the big day; and, then have your final fitting done about one week before the wedding.
Many couples decide to ride off into the sunset after their
wedding reception. Some couples find it
advantageous to wait a day or two before taking off on their honeymoon. This way, you will have a chance
to clear your head, take a breath, and then go on vacation with your loved one.
Sometimes, the bachelor and/or bachelorette party is thrown the night before the wedding. This may seem
like a good time to observe the "last hurrah," but seriously consider this decision. You may appreciate
feeling rested, healthy, and clearheaded on your wedding day.
Brides, moms, in-laws, and others may feel the need to help implement the wedding services. This may
include telling the
disc jockey what songs to play, making suggestions to the caterer in regards to
passing out the cake, prompting the wedding photographer to take a particular shot, etc. Service
providers understand the importance of the occasion. Make a decision about your provider before the
wedding day, and then trust in their competence. This can make your day more relaxing and enables the
service providers to do the best job possible.
